This Cookies Policy applies to the website https://www.vipyachtibiza.com and to the on-line booking engine embedded on it (together, the “Platform”).

2. WHAT IS A COOKIE?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your computer, tablet or smartphone (“Device”) when you visit a website or open an app. It stores limited data about your browsing. Session cookies disappear when you close the browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.
3. WHY WE USE COOKIES
Essential navigation – remember language, keep you logged-in, let you add a charter date to the WooCommerce cart.
Performance & analytics – measure visits, detect broken pages, improve speed.
Booking engine – hold your search parameters and calculate live availability/pricing.
Payment security – enable Stripe, PayPal and Redsys to authenticate a card without storing full details on our servers.
Personalisation & marketing – show relevant destinations or retarget you with ads for ETERNA only if you consent.

6. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
Partners such as Google LLC, Meta Platforms, Stripe Inc., Automattic Inc. (WooCommerce) and TravelClick (booking engine) may place cookies through the Platform. They process data according to their own privacy terms and, where required, Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
7. HOW TO MANAGE OR DISABLE COOKIES
Banner & Preference Centre
On your first visit you see a banner:
“Accept all” – enables every category.
“Settings” – choose Analytics and Advertising separately. Essential cookies cannot be disabled.

Note: blocking essentials may break the booking engine or checkout.
8. STORAGE PERIODS & LEGAL BASIS
Essential cookies – legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR) – kept max 13 months.
Functional / Analytics / Advertising – consent (Art. 6 (1)(a)) – stored for the periods in §4; renewed every 12 months unless you revisit the banner earlier.
9. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Some cookie data is processed in the USA. We rely on adequacy decisions (e.g., EU-US DPF) or SCCs plus additional safeguards (encryption in transit, pseudonymisation).
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Material changes will be announced via banner or e-mail. Minor wording updates will be reflected by a new “last updated” date.
